The fine folks at Leiper's Fork Distillery has switched their production over to creating hand sanitizer, similar to other area distillers.
The team at the distillery is offering a free bucket of sanitizer to area first responders. They provided one to Spring Hill PD, and will also be providing some to Spring Hill Fire soon.
At a later date they will have limited public sales of sanitize available.
Leiper's Fork Distillery tells News4 that area first responders are welcome to contact them for sanitizer, and they will be happy to oblige. Give them a call at 615-465-6456.
Distillery President and head distiller Lee Kennedy says although their facility is currently closed to the normal tours they conduct, they do have retail space that's open to the public for curbside sales
*These sales allow us to donate disinfectant to our first responders across the Midstate. We feel it is imperative to keep those that keep us safe as healthy as possible during these times. Being a community distillery we are focusing on helping those within our county first, including Williamson County Sheriff Department, Spring Hill Police and Fire Department and Williamson County Emergency Management Administration, etc. For the immediate future we have dedicated all of our capacity to making disinfectant and are currently running 18 hours per day to try and meet demand. As supply allows, our plan is to help as many first responders across the state as we possibly can through donations. If you would like to inquire about our supply of disinfectant, please email us at info@leipersforkdistillery.com.
